What started out as a root ball down at the neighbor’s place turned into quite a story. It’s so amazing to see a tree milled into a beautiful work of art. This was only HALF of the root ball that I hauled home on a borrowed trailer.

We have been having issues with our phone line and internet so if we get disconnected during a call, our phone line continues to ring (or not ring), or take a bit to respond to your e-mail, we want you to know that we have been trying different avenues to get things fixed. From what we’ve been told, the equipment used for our internet and phone lines is over 50 years old and parts are hard to come by so this could be a fairly ongoing issue.

Although the delays of a breakdown and a scheduling mistake were frustrating, the work was tackled June 23 on a beautiful day for milling. I will do my best to convey how nice it is to work alongside Brian Tremble[y], his efforts to keep work flow productive and steady, even when a lifting arm on the machine broke. We were fortunate to catch a neighbor home who had a welder who helped get it fixed and we were back in production in 90 minutes.
